Pedro Sanchez: Morocco, ‘Strategic Partner and Ally’ in All Areas

Madrid – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez reiterated the fundamental importance of maintaining the best relations with Morocco, a “partner and strategic ally” in all areas.

“Morocco is a partner and a strategic ally for Spain,” Sanchez stressed during a debate, Tuesday in the Spanish Senate, highlighting the excellent level of cooperation between the two countries on several issues.

“Morocco is a fundamental ally not only from a migration point of view, but also in terms of security and trade,” said the president of the Spanish government.

In this context, he noted that his government prioritizes common interests and mutual benefit in its relations with an important country like Morocco.
