Morocco’s Official Reserve Assets Up 8.4%

‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌​ ​ ‌​ ​ Rabat – Morocco’s official reserve assets amounted to 326.5 billion Dirhams on July 22, 2022, up by 8.4% compared to the same period in 2021, Morocco’s central bank (Bank Al-Maghrib) has said.

During the week of July 21-27, 2022, Bank Al-Maghrib injected 103 billion dirhams.

As for the interbank rate, it has remained at 1.5%, the source added in a release.

In the same period, the Dirham depreciated by 0.15% against the Euro and by 0.53% against the US Dollar.
