On this occasion, Ms. Baerbock was informed of the projects implemented in Morocco by the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in the areas of vocational training and digital technology.
These projects include training courses offered at the Souss-Massa Technopark to provide qualifications in modern technologies and programming.
In a statement to MAP, GIZ Resident Director in Morocco, Lorenz Petersen, said the agency oversees several cooperation projects in the city of Agadir including strengthening the links between the capital of Souss and German cities.
The Souss-Massa Technopark is a project funded under a public-private partnership. It hosts start-ups and SMEs, as well as large companies.
Earlier in the day, Ms. Baerbock had talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita.
