Customs in Bab Sebta Foil Attempt of Trafficking 117 Kg of Chira

Bab Sebta – Customs in Bab Sebta on Saturday foiled an drug trafficking attempt of 117 kg of cannabis resin locally known as ‘chira’, said a source from the custums.

The same source revealed that these drugs were carefully hidden in the form of plates inside a Spain-registered car, driven by a Spanish national, who attempted to smuggle them into the occupied presidium of Sebta.

The police, which used trained dogs to detect the hidden drugs, handed over the car driver to the judicial police in Tetouan for further investigations under the supervision of the competent prosecutor.
