Youth Ministers of OIC Countries Commend Role of Al-Quds Committee in Supporting Holy City Young People

Jeddah – The Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States hailed the role of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in funding projects for children and youth in Al-Quds Asharif.

The ministers also highlighted the efforts of the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency, the executive body of the Al Quds Committee under the OIC, on the sidelines of the 5th Ministerial Conference on Youth and Sports in the Member States of the Organization, which wrapped up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Morocco took part in this meeting with a delegation led by Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.

On the sidelines of this conference, Bensaid held several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the OIC Member States, as he met with Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization, with the aim of coordinating efforts in the field of policy development of the Member States of the organization in favor of youth.

During this meeting, the Minister reviewed the experience of Morocco in this field, stressing the willingness of the Kingdom to strengthen cooperation with the organization.
