Social Economy Ministry Launches 3rd MOAZARA Program

Rabat – The Ministry of Tourism, Handicraft and Social and Solidarity Economy has launched the 3rd MOAZARA program to finance development projects for the benefit of cooperatives, foundations, associations and networks of associations operating in the sector of Social and Solidarity Economy.

After two previous editions that have helped finance 177 projects of the Social and Solidarity Economy, in all regions, the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy launches the 3rd edition for the year 2022, says the Department of Social and Solidarity Economy in a statement.

This edition is marked by the contribution of several new institutional partners, which will strengthen the overall budget and will finance several cooperatives in their regions, adds the same source.

This third edition will also be characterized by projects with high added value, particularly aimed at the socio-economic empowerment of women and youth in several sectors such as crafts, tourism, agriculture, cultural entrepreneurship, health, education, or renewable energy, notes the statement, recalling that the program participates significantly in the socio-economic inclusion of a significant segment of the population.

It has allowed, to date, the maintenance of more than 7,000 jobs and the creation of 5,000 new direct and indirect jobs. Given the even more inclusive format of this edition, the program aims to improve its performance in terms of participation and job creation.

The project leaders are called to submit their applications on https://mtaess.gov.ma/ar/Moazara/ until October 7, 2022, said the release.
