1st Rabie-I Corresponds to Sept. 28, Eid Al Mawlid Annabawi Celebrated on Oct. 09

Rabat – The month of Rabie-I 1444 Hegira will start on Wednesday, September 28, and Eid Al Mawlid Annabawi will be celebrated on Sunday, October 09, 2022, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced on Monday.

The ministry said in a statement that it has contacted its delegates and the Royal Armed Forces units which confirmed the non-sighting of the lunar crescent announcing the beginning of the month of Rabi I in the evening of Monday, Safar 29, 1444 Hegira, corresponding to Sept. 26, 2022.

Hence, the month of Safar will complete 30 days and the first day of Rabi I will be Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Eid Al Mawlid Annabawi will be celebrated on Oct. 09, 2022, it said.
