INDH Delegation Visits Hemodialysis Center Equipped by Morocco in Gabon’s Franceville

Franceville – A delegation of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) on Friday visited the hemodialysis center that was fully equipped by the Kingdom of Morocco in Franceville, Gabon.

The delegation included the Wali in charge of the INDH national coordination, Mohammed Dardouri, and Morocco’s Ambassador to Gabon, Abdellah Sbihi, besides several executives of the initiative and President of the “Amal” Foundation for Hemodialysis and Social Works in Morocco, Mustapha Faouzi.

Speaking on this occasion, Dardouri stressed that the INDH set up two hemodialysis centers in Franceville and Port-Gentil, as part of the Moroccan-Gabonese cooperation and on the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI and President Ali Bongo.

Two other units were set up for the benefit of people with Down syndrome and autism in Libreville, he added.

“We are visiting Franceville today to witness closely with our Gabonese colleagues the functioning of the equipment installed,” he told MAP, adding that he was “extremely” satisfied to see that patients continue their treatment in good conditions.

In similar remarks, Morocco’s ambassador to Gabon said that the hemodialysis center is fully equipped by Morocco under the bilateral cooperation agreement signed before HM King Mohammed VI and Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba.

This Center, like the one in Port-Gentil, reflects the dynamics of long-term and brotherly relations between the two peoples and the two countries, he added, adding that other centers will be opened in Oyem and Mouilla to support “Gabonese brothers and sisters” suffering from this disease.

For his part, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of Gabon, Ontina Patrice, thanked HM King Mohammed VI and Ali Bongo, adding that the facility is the product of the brotherly cooperation between Morocco and Gabon.
