Luxembourg Lauds Reforms Carried out by Morocco under HM the King Leadership (Joint Statement)

Rabat – Luxembourg lauded the reforms carried out by Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for a more open and dynamic Moroccan society and economy.

In a joint statement issued at the end of talks, Tuesday in Rabat, between Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom, the two ministers praised the friendship and great esteem that exist between the royal families of the two countries.

Bourita and Asselborn reaffirmed their willingness to enhance cooperation between the two countries towards a multidimensional partnership aimed at deepening dialogue and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.

The two ministers welcomed, in this regard, the upcoming visit to Morocco of His Royal Highness the Crown Grand Duke and the Minister of Economy of Luxembourg, leading an economic delegation.

They stressed their aspiration to further develop economic and trade relations, encouraging Luxembourg companies to explore new investment opportunities in Morocco, both bilaterally and in the context of a triangular cooperation Morocco-Luxembourg-Africa. The two ministers also had fruitful exchanges on the importance of deepening the historical relations between Morocco and Luxembourg, while marking their shared willingness to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries, according to the joint statement.
