As part of Morocco’s health system reform, the government will continue to mobilize significant resources for the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, said the note, recalling the increase under the 2022 Finance Act dedicated, essentially, to upgrading health infrastructure.
Similarly, and to support the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to meet its human resource needs, including medical and paramedical staff, this department and University Hospitals have benefited from significant budgetary positions in recent years, said the same source.
In this regard, 5,500 budgetary positions will be granted under the PLF-2023 bringing the total number of creations over the period 2017-2023, to 36,117 budgetary positions including 30,000 positions for the benefit of the Department of Health.
