Exchange Program for Moroccan, German and Israeli Students Celebrated in Germany

Syke – A reception was held, Tuesday in the German city of Syke, in honor of groups of Moroccan, German and Israeli students who benefited from an exchange around the theme of environmental protection and climate in Germany, and this in the presence of the German Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Katja Keul, advisers of the Embassy of Morocco in Berlin and the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom in Bremen, Volker Kröning,

The students include a group of eight Moroccan students from the city of Al Hoceima, representing the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA), the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and Al Badissi and Moulay Ali Cherif high schools.

According to its initiators, the purpose of this exchange is to “promote living together among the group of young people and strengthen the idea of international understanding”.

Speaking on this occasion, the German Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Katja Keul, said that this event is “a concrete example of international understanding, through the exchange of young people,” stressing the importance of networking as a means to find solutions to current challenges.

According to her, it is necessary to have committed young people able to provide ideas and motivation for a planet as sustainable and peaceful as possible, noting that CO2 emissions from industrialized countries are causing particularly dramatic consequences of global warming in countries that have contributed the least.

For his part, the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom in Bremen, Volker Kröning, said that this event that brings together young people from Morocco, Israel and Germany is part of the project to promote relations between countries and religions.
