Delivering a presentation to the Council of Government on Thursday, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports Chakib Benmoussa explained that this text has been enriched by the conclusions of national consultations that have brought together some 100 thousand participants.
The roadmap aims to achieve three strategic objectives by 2026, the first of which concerns consolidating learning knowledge and basic skills by doubling the percentage of students with a good mastery of basic learning in the primary cycle.
These objectives also include the consecration of openness and citizenship values by doubling the percentage of students benefiting from extracurricular activities and the reduction of 30% of school wastage so as to give a strong impetus to compulsory education, said the Minister.
To achieve these goals, the roadmap has established 12 commitments that revolve around three strategic areas of intervention, in order to lay the foundations of a quality public school for all.
