Magnitude-4.5 Quake Recorded off Driouch Province

Rabat – A magnitude-4.5 earthquake was recorded Friday night off the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The tremor, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, occurred at 00h 32min 42sec (GMT+1), said the National Network of Monitoring and Seismic Alert, under the ING, in a seismic alert bulletin.

At a depth of 25 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 35.458 ° N and a longitude of 3.573 ° W, the same source said.
