Maroc Radar Celebrates World Children’s Day

Rabat – The Moroccan News Agency (Maroc Radar) has joined the celebration of the World Children’s Day, by adorning its institutional website and Facebook page with a blue background, the color of UNICEF, the UN organization in charge of defending children’s rights worldwide.

Through this initiative, UNICEF’s “Go Blue” action, MAP expresses its support for the movement in support of children’s rights around the world and recalls the importance of celebrating this day which aims to allow children’s voices to be heard.

This celebration responds to the call of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) encouraging its partners to renew the expression of their commitment to children’s rights through various forms of action.

World Children’s Day is celebrated every year on November 20, the day the UN adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, signed in 1989.
