2022 World Cup: Morocco Advance to Round of 16 after Beating Canada (2-1) in Group F

Doha – Morocco have secured its ticket to the round of 16 of the World Cup 2022 by beating Canada by 2 goals to 1 (halftime: 2-1), Thursday at the Al-Thumama stadium in Doha, for the 3rd and last day of Group F.

Hakim Ziyech (4th) opened the score for the Atlas Lions, before Youssef En-Nesyri doubled the score (23rd).

The Canadians reduced the score on an own goal by Nayef Aguerd (40th).

With this victory, the Atlas Lions, who match the performance of 1986, increase their assets to seven points, topping Group F, and punch their ticket to the round of 16, without waiting for the other result of this group.
