World Cup-2022: With its Qualification for Semi-Finals, Morocco Joined Club of Great Football Nations (Coach Regragui)

Doha – With its qualification for the semi-finals of the World Cup Qatar 2022, the Moroccan team has joined the club of great football nations, the national coach Walid Regragui said on Saturday.

During the post-match press conference, Regragui stressed that with this qualification, the national team became the first at the Arab and African levels to exceed the quarterfinals, thus positioning itself with the world’s great football teams.

The goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, elected man of the match, stressed that this qualification is a historic moment and a great achievement that has allowed Morocco to be in the big league.

He added that this qualification is the result of great efforts made by all components of the national team, especially the players who have shown a fighting spirit and signed a great performance.

Morocco has secured its ticket to the semi-finals of the World Cup by beating Portugal on the score of 1 goal to 0.
