According to the order No. 3337.22 of the Minister of Interior setting the date of the beginning and end of the census operation relating to military service for 2023 published in the Official Gazette No. 7151/12 December 2022, the walis of the regions and governors, each in what concerns him, are called to take the necessary steps to implement this order at the level of the prefecture or the province or the prefecture of districts under their territorial jurisdiction.
The census operation relating to military service for the year 2022, which took place from December 13, 2021 to February 10, 2022, had experienced a strong influx of young people including women.
The number of young people who completed the census procedures for military service for the year 2022 was 178,166 against 133,820 in 2019.
