World Cup 2022: King of Jordan “Proud” of Atlas Lions

Amman – King Abdullah II of Jordan has expressed his pride in the Atlas Lions’ achievement in the World Cup (Qatar-2022).

“We are proud of the achievement, unprecedented in the Arab world, of the Moroccan national team,” tweeted the Jordanian Sovereign.

“All my congratulations to my dear brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and to the brotherly Moroccan people,” he added, wishing success to the Atlas Lions in the days to come.

Morocco had lost (0-2) against France in the semi-final. The Atlas Lions will face the Croats on Saturday for the third-place play-off.
