French FM Underlines Rabat-Paris Common Will to Establish Unique, Exemplary Partnership

Rabat – French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna underlined, Friday in Rabat, the common will of Morocco and France to project themselves in a unique, modern and exemplary partnership.

The density of the Franco-Moroccan partnership in all economic, cultural, security and educational fields has never been denied, underlined the head of French diplomacy during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, after their talks.

The two sides agreed to further deepen joint work and move forward at a good pace through respectful dialogue, open exchanges and a constructive spirit, he said, adding that “this means adapting to the legitimate expectations of Morocco, which continues to transform itself.”

Colonna also spoke of the joint responsibility to forge relations beneficial to both countries, welcoming the uniqueness of the modern, exemplary and exceptional partnership between the two countries.

In this regard, she highlighted the common will of Morocco and France to project themselves into the future, in line with the vision of HM King Mohammed VI and President Emmanuel Macron.

The minister also applauded the remarkable performance of the Atlas Lions in the 2022 World Cup, affirming that “this is only the beginning of great adventures for Moroccan soccer.”
