President of Liberia Receives Minister Sekkouri, Carrying Message from HM the King

Monrovia – President of the Republic of Liberia, George Weah, received in audience, Tuesday in Monrovia, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, carrying a message from His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

On this occasion, Sekkouri stressed the unwavering commitment of the Kingdom to the improvement of bilateral relations between Liberia and Morocco.

President Weah and Sekkouri also expressed their commitment to improve and strengthen the cordial relations that exist between the two countries.

The two sides also discussed mutual respect for each other’s culture and diversity from which each country can benefit, including development programs in the areas of trade, infrastructure, employment opportunities and human capacity.

Relations between the Republic of Liberia and the Kingdom of Morocco have developed strongly over the years to reach an unprecedented level. These are solid ties that reflect the fraternal links uniting the two countries.

Liberia and Morocco continue to work closely together on issues of common interest in various areas of cooperation and strategic partnership.
