Industry Minsiter Calls for Innovation to Ensure Morocco’s Water Security

Casablanca – Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour on Tuesday urged manufacturers to demonstrate innovation in the water sector to ensure the Kingdom’s water security and the rational use of this valuable resource.

Speaking at the 5th Industry Mornings, Mezzour stressed the importance of initiatives and projects based on innovation and new technologies in water management, which constitutes a national priority.

Water is everyone’s business. It must mobilize all sectors to ensure the necessary supply to citizens and farmers, he said at this meeting organized by “Industrie du Maroc Magazine”, encouraging investment in technological solutions for water efficiency.

He further noted that “we are working tirelessly in the industrial sector to promote innovation and the tools necessary for sustainable water management.

The Ministry of Industry, like all government departments, is strongly mobilized to use all necessary means to preserve water resources, which are essential for Morocco’s development, and to ensure that there is no shortage,” said Mezzour.
