Casablanca: Tibu Africa, Dutch Embassy in Morocco Reward Young Social Entrepreneurs in Sports

Casablanca – The NGO Tibu Africa and the Dutch Embassy in Morocco honored and rewarded, recently in Casablanca, the young entrepreneurs of the second promotion of the Sports Orange Corners program focused on entrepreneurship in the field of high impact sports.

This program focuses on four major areas, namely Sport and Education, Sport and Health, Sport and Environment and Sport and New Technologies and Big Data, says Tibu Africa in a satatement.

Following a call for applications from young Moroccans and migrants aged between 18 and 35 years, 12 applicants were selected to benefit from an incubation program and support, ranging from the period of integration into the program until the implementation of the project, explains the document.

During 06 months of learning and support, the young entrepreneurs have benefited from training sessions, bootcamps, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions that have aimed to develop entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in several areas including digital marketing, legal and financial structuring of projects, business model canvas, and business plan development.

The young social and sports entrepreneurs were armed with the necessary tools to transform their ideas and projects into businesses thanks to the strategic follow-up sessions provided by the Tibu Africa team, coaches and sworn experts in the entrepreneurship and sports sectors, the NGO adds.
