Palestinian Minister Praises Central Role of Al-Quds Committee, Chaired by HM the King, in Preserving Holy City

Al-Quds – The Palestinian Minister of Al-Quds Affairs, Fadi Al-Hadmi, hailed the central role played by the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in preserving the Holy City from Judaization, and defending its Arab, Islamic and Christian identity.

During a meeting on Tuesday with the Moroccan ambassador to Palestine, Abderrahim Meziane, the Palestinian minister praised the tireless work of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in defending the resistance of the inhabitants of the holy city, stressing that the Agency is considered one of the most present and influential solidarity institutions in Al-Quds and has a field experience that exceeds 25 years of social action dedicated to health, education, childhood and youth.

He expressed his aspiration for a distinguished participation of the delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco in the conference “Al-Quds 2023: strengthening resilience, development and investment”, which will be held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo on February 12, focusing on the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, as it is a force of proposal to expand investment projects in the holy city to serve its people.

The Palestinian minister expressed his willingness to visit the Kingdom soon, in order to hold a number of meetings with the various ministerial institutions concerned and civil society organizations.

He also said that the inhabitants of the holy city are in urgent need of support from their Arab and Muslim brothers around the world.

For his part, the Moroccan diplomat expressed the Kingdom’s concern about the recent developments in Al-Quds and the great importance that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and all the Moroccan people, attach to the holy city and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
