This position “affirms the Palestinian constants and the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with occupied East Quds as its capital on all the lands occupied by Israel during the June 1967 war,” the Commission said in a statement.
The International Commission of Solidarity with the Palestinian People also highlighted the close and historic relations between the Kingdom and Palestine and expressed its thanks and gratitude to HM the King for chairing the Al-Quds Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as for the Sovereign’s continued support for the Holy City and its inhabitants.
In addition, this autonomous committee from the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization expressed its refusal of the instrumentalization of the Palestinian cause for the benefit of political agendas and partisan election campaigns.
It has, in this sense, denounced the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD) concerning the relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Israel and the introduction of the Palestinian cause in an irresponsible manner.
