According to the same sources, a person contacted local authorities and members of the Royal Gendarmerie after claiming that two of his companions had entered the aforementioned cave throughout the course of the night of April 9–10, 2023.
The individuals in question were discovered dead under the rubble after the authorities and numerous services were alerted, they continued.
The two victims were inside the cave with a group of seven people looking for precious metals (treasures), according to early information, when the tunnel collapsed because of the excavations being done within the cave.
