Man Arrested for Alleged Burglary in Tetouan

Tangier – Tetouan’s anti-gang policemen on Thursday arrested, in coordination with their Tangier counterparts, a 35-year-old individual for alleged involvement in a case of burglary, said a security source.

The investigation, carried out with the collaboration of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance, revealed the suspect’s involvement in theft operation, for the purpose of which he broke into several houses in Tetouan and took personal belongings, jewelry and electronic equipment.

The police, through intensive investigations, seized several televisions phones and tablets, as well as jewelry and watches, which would be the spoils of these criminal activities, in addition to false keys and tools he used to break locks.

The alleged burglar was taken into custody for further investigations to clarify the ins and outs of this case, as they continue with the aim of apprehending anyone involved in these criminal acts, concluded the source.
