Paris: Arab World Institute Pres. Lauds Morocco’s Role in Al-Quds Asharif

Paris – President of the Arab World Institute, Jack Lang, praised Morocco’s political and humanitarian roles in Al-Quds Asharif on Thursday in Paris.

At a meeting with Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif agency, Lang said he “highly appreciates the Kingdom’s roles in the Holy City, both on the political and humanitarian fronts”, expressing his “particular admiration for the high esteem in which His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, is held throughout the world”.

During the meeting, Cherkaoui gave a presentation on the values and objectives of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, highlighting the social and humanitarian roles of the institution, under the Al-Quds Committee.

On this occasion, Lang welcomed a partnership and cooperation project between the Agency and the Arab World Institute in areas of common interest, expressing his support for the events that could be held this year in Paris, as part of the Agency’s commemoration of its 25th anniversary, especially as the Institute is hosting Palestinian events during this period, which will run until the end of November 2023 under the theme “What Palestine brings to the world”.
