Rabat – First president of the Court of Audit, Zineb El Adaoui, and president of the Audit Administrative Control Bureau of the State of Palestine, Iyad Taym, signed, on Monday in Rabat, an amendment renewing the cooperation agreement that has linked the two institutions since July 3, 2018.

The signing of this agreement aims to give new impetus to cooperation between the two institutions and raise their relations to the distinguished level that unites the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Morocco, thus embodying the solidity of the historic relations between the two countries, said a statement by the Court of Audit.

Under this agreement, the two parties undertake to encourage the exchange of experience in various areas of public supreme audit, added the same source, noting that it also provides for the exchange of expertise and technical information regarding the methods and mechanisms used in auditing and the development of professional skills.

On this occasion, El Adaoui paid tribute to the historic and distinguished ties that unite the two institutions, stressing that bilateral cooperation is not an end in itself, but rather a common means and a sustainable framework for exchanging knowledge and best practices generated internally by the institutions and lessons learned in the field of auditing and verification.

For his part, Taym stressed that the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the Audit Administrative Control Bureau of the State of Palestine and the Court of Audit of the Kingdom of Morocco is proof of the quality of the relationship between the two institutions, noting that this agreement is part of the exchange of information and development of the work of the control institutions with a view to building national institutions that provide public services to citizens.
