Cape Verde: Delegation from Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema Meets Officials

Praia (Cape Verde) – A delegation from the Mohammed VI Foundation for African Oulema held meetings with Cape Verdean officials in Praia on Monday, as part of a two-day visit to the archipelago.

Led by the Foundation’s Secretary General, Mohamed Rifki, accompanied by Othmane Sqalli Houssaini and Mohamed El Gourari, the delegation met with the President of the High Immigration Authority, Carmen L. Teixera Barros Furtado.

It also met with the National Director of Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration of Cape Verde, Tania Romualdo.

During these talks, Rifki highlighted the missions and goals of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema in line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful.

Rifki also emphasized the Foundation’s role in preserving the values of peace, coexistence and inter-religious dialogue on African soil, and above all its contribution to the development of the African continent, reiterating the Foundation’s readiness to benefit Cape Verdean society.

On this occasion, both parties expressed their willingness to strengthen coordination and collaboration to ensure social peace and consolidate the values of dialogue in cooperation with the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema.
