28th International Book and Publishing Fair kicks off in Rabat

Rabat – Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, kicked off the 28th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL-2023) in Rabat on Thursday, in the presence of a host of eminent figures from the world of politics, diplomacy and culture.

Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI from June 1 to 11, the event will see the participation of over 700 exhibitors representing 51 countries, with Quebec as a special guest.

Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication in partnership with the Wilaya of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region and the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Regional Council, this year’s event will bring together 661 Moroccan and foreign writers, intellectuals and poets, whose contributions will light up the skies of this renowned international fair.
