Ferrari Uses Rabat’s ‘Captivating’ Beauty in its Roma Spider’s Ad – Reports

Rome – Rabat has served as a “captivating” backdrop for an ad campaign by Italian luxury carmaker Ferrari, which has used the Moroccan capital’s picturesque yet modern backdrop to launch its new Roma Spider, Italian media report.

In a recently unveiled commercial, luxury cars fans are transported through “breathtaking” landscapes where “the fusion between the timeless beauty of the Kingdom and the power of the Roma Spider, the latest jewel from the Maranello factory, is perfect,” writes La Gazetta dello Sport.

Ferrari’s campaign, shot with meticulous care, captures the awe-inspiring magic of Rabat. From the winding alleys of the medina to the whitewashed walls and intricately carved doors, the Italian brand takes its fans on a journey back in time.

“The streets of the Oudayas, with their pastel façades surrounded by architectural wonders, further highlight the brand, where elegance and history blend harmoniously,” adds the media outlet.

According to Italy’s oldest sports daily, “Rabat’s Atlantic coastline offered another captivating spectacle for the now viral ad.”

“The waves of the Atlantic Ocean break gently on the rocks, while the sun reflects off the gleaming bodywork of the Roma Spider, offering a perfect marriage between the natural beauty of the Moroccan coast and the finesse of the Italian sports car’s design.”

In addition to the cultural, historical and natural potential of the City of Lights, Ferrari chose the Oudayas underground tunnel, a symbol of modernity and speed that contrasts magnificently with the timeless atmosphere of Rabat,” describes the Italian automotive information portal Auto.it, noting that “the Roma Spider reveals itself to the full, with its racy lines and powerful engine roaring through the meanders of this underground passage.

“The video, posted on Ferrari’s official YouTube channel, immediately caught the attention of luxury car enthusiasts,” reports the specialized media, noting that “this is not the first time the latest model of the Cavallino has appeared in Morocco.
