Beni Ensar: Police Thwart Smuggling Attempt of over 8K Psychotropic Tablets

Nador – Policemen in Beni Ensar thwarted, on Saturday morning, an attempt to smuggle 8,020 psychotropic tablets on a light vehicle bearing a foreign license plate number, says a security source.

According to the security source, the police seized a shipment of psychotropic tablets that was carefully concealed in the spare wheel of the vehicle, and arrested the 42-year-old driver.

The suspect, a Moroccan national, has been placed under the judicial investigation carried out by Nador’s judicial police, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to determine further ramifications of this criminal activity.
