Rabat Hosts CAF Executive Committee Meeting on Friday

Cairo – The Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) Executive Committee will meet in Rabat on Friday ahead of the final of the U-23 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), the continent’s governing body announced on Wednesday.

The meeting will focus on the bidding process currently underway for the 2025 and 2027 editions of the African Cup of Nations, CAF said in a statement published on its official website.

The Executive Committee will also discuss the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, which will be held in Abidjan on July 13, 2023, it added.

The Executive Committee meeting, which will be chaired by CAF President Patrice Motsepe, will begin at 11 a.m., the same source said.
