Angola, Morocco Working to Further Develop Relations in Constantly Changing World – Angolan FM

Rabat – Angolan Foreign Minister Téte Antonio on Tuesday said that his country and Morocco are working to develop their relations through concrete actions in a world in constant transformation.

The Angolan top diplomat’s statement came while speaking at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, at the end of the 3rd Morocco-Angola Joint Cooperation Commission.

Antonio recalled that mechanisms had been put in place in the past to strengthen these relations through a series of initiatives that served as a roadmap to give new impetus to this cooperation.

He stressed the importance of developing such partnerships in Africa, adding that his country was keen to strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, which would contribute to the continent’s influence.

The Angolan head of diplomacy also expressed the desire of his country, which has already diversified its economy, to work with the private sector in Morocco to further develop and strengthen Moroccan-Angolan relations.

“We would also like to benefit from the experience of the Kingdom of Morocco, especially in the fields of finance, tourism and education,” he explained.

He also affirmed that his country’s ambition is to create a framework conducive to attracting the Moroccan private sector, believing that this cooperation will allow Angola to develop its own potential and foreign investors to benefit from its various assets, including its strategic positioning.
