Israel’s Recognition of Moroccanness of Sahara, ‘Major Achievement of Firm, Proactive Diplomacy’ Led by HM the King (PPS SG)

Rabat – Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, the Secretary General of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), emphasized Tuesday that Israel’s recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara represents a significant accomplishment resulting from the firm and proactive diplomacy led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

“This achievement is unquestionably part of the major gains Morocco has made in recent years in securing recognition of the Moroccan Sahara by a large number of countries that play a key role on the world stage, which will strongly support our country’s legitimate position on the international stage to consolidate its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Benabdallah told MAP.

The PPS Secretary General expressed optimism that this significant step will contribute positively to furthering the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts in promoting peace in the Middle East.
