A Series of Reports on Moroccan Sahara Scheduled by TV channels in Guatemala and Central America

Guatemala City – A series of reports on development projects in the Moroccan Sahara and on the cultural specificities of this region will be broadcast from this Saturday on television channels in Guatemala and Central America.

To mark the launch of this series of reports entitled “The Sahara Route”, a reception was recently organized by the Moroccan Embassy in Guatemala, which announced that the first episode would be broadcast on Saturday July 22 by Guatemala’s “Guatevision” channel and “Direct TV”, which covers Central American countries and the USA.

According to the same source, the reports were produced by a team of 6 Guatemalan reporters, led by well-known journalist Vida Amor Paz.

An extract from the first report was screened, focusing on the tourist attractions and cultural and artistic specificities of the Moroccan Sahara.

This extract also mentions the large-scale projects completed or underway in these southern regions of the Kingdom.

The launch ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Guatemalan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Guatemala, and representatives from the academic and business worlds, as well as the Guatemalan print and broadcast media.
