Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency Organizes Al-Quds Forum for Palestinian Women and Youth

Al Quds – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency organized, on Sunday in the Holy City, the Al Quds Forum for Palestinian women and youth, as part of its Silver Jubilee activities marking the 25th anniversary of its establishment, under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.

Speaking on this occasion, the Agency’s Managing Director, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, said that the forum is an opportunity to strengthen exchanges with all strata of Al-Quds society and to address their problems responsibly and seriously, so that the Agency could fulfill its missions in the service of the city and its institutions, in accordance with the instructions of His Majesty the King.

He added that the Agency continues to follow its working methodology based on field action advocated by the Sovereign, despite the difficulties and challenges imposed by limited funding.

For his part, the Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council of Al-Quds, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, praised the Agency’s qualitative contribution to Al-Quds, calling on Arab and Islamic countries to draw inspiration from this experience, in order to meet the financial needs of Al-Quds institutions and strengthen their resilience.

For his part, the Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia, Atallah Hanna, praised the achievements of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency over the past 25 years in the Holy City, calling on Arab countries to support the resistance of the inhabitants of Al-Quds.

The Palestinian Presidency’s advisor for Al-Quds affairs, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian leadership to the forum’s organizers, praising the Agency’s efforts since its creation 25 years ago on behalf of the inhabitants and institutions of Al-Quds.
