Morocco’s Sofiane Boufal Injured, Set to Miss Three Months – Club

Doha – Qatari club Al-Rayyan have announced that Moroccan international, Sofiane Boufal, is expected to miss three months due to injury.

The club confirmed in a statement that medical examinations had shown that Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal had suffered a rupture in the tendon of the right posterior muscle, following the injury sustained in the match against Qatar SC on the second day of the Qatari Championship.

The same source added that the player will undergo several additional tests to determine the treatment plan, with follow-up by the club’s medical staff, and that he is expected to be absent for a period of 3 months.
