Rwanda appreciates Morocco’s efforts to integrate African countries, she said, adding that the two countries enjoy “excellent” relations based on solid diplomatic ties and “the determination of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency President Paul Kagame to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and Rwanda.”
Their exchanged visits to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Rwanda, in June and October 2016 respectively, raised the level of bilateral cooperation, the Minister said, noting that “both leaders firmly believe in the importance of African solidarity and integration for the continent’s transformation.”
On the economic front, Uwera underlined the “solidity” of the partnership between the two countries, which has grown significantly in recent years in terms of trade volume. Support for the Kingdom’s development must be encouraged, and efforts to strengthen this important economic partnership must be pursued, she added.
“We look forward to continuing to work with Morocco and to exploring new prospects for cooperation”, Uwera said.
