Morocco-Israel: Letter of Understanding to Strengthen Cooperation in Health Sector

Rabat – Morocco and Israel signed a letter of understanding in Rabat on Friday, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.

The letter was signed during a meeting between minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, and the Israeli minister of the Interior and Health, Moshe Arbel, who is visiting Morocco leading an Israeli delegation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.

According to the same source, this letter of understanding particularly provides for the sharing of expertise and best practices in medical and technological innovation and the fight against non-communicable diseases.

This partnership reflects the two countries’ shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of their respective populations, concluded the statement.
