Morocco, Arab Futsal Champion for Third Time in Row

Jeddah – Morocco’s futsal team won the Arab Cup for the 3rd time in a row, following their victory over Kuwait (7-1) on Friday in Jeddah.

Hicham Dguig’s men had dominated, from start to finish, the matches in Pool B, getting the better of the Comoros Islands (5-0), Lebanon (6-0) and Kuwait (4-2).

Morocco then ousted Saudi Arabia (5-2) in the quarter-finals, before defeating Libya (5-1) in the semi-finals.

The 7th edition of the Arab Futsal Cup brought together teams from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Algeria, Palestine, Mauritania, Comoros and Tajikistan.
