Morocco Elected Member of Arab Information Ministers Council’s New Executive Board

Rabat – Morocco was elected on Wednesday in Rabat as a member of the new Executive Board of the Council of Arab Information Ministers for the next two years, at the end of the Council’s 35th meeting, chaired by the Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was elected Chairman of the new Executive Board, Egypt Vice-Chairman, while Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Palestine and Algeria were elected members.

It was decided that the next session (18th) of the Executive Board of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information would take place in January 2024 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, only after the 100th session of the Standing Committee for Arab Media.

The agenda of this meeting included the presentation and assessment of the progress made in implementing the decisions of the 52nd session of the Council, held in Cairo, in the light of the intensive meetings held at the level of Council structures, committees and working groups inside and outside the country where the headquarters is located.
