‘Morocco Storytelling’ International Festival Inscribed on ICESCO’s List of Intangible Heritage

Rabat – The “Morocco Storytelling” International Festival ” International Festival has been inscribed on the list of intangible heritage of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

This announcement was made on Tuesday in Rabat, at the opening ceremony of the 20th edition of this important cultural event.

On this occasion, ICESCO Director General Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik presented the registration certificate to Najima Ghazali Tay Tay, President of the International Morocco Storytelling Academy for Intangible Cultural Heritage, organizer of the festival.

Placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, the 20th edition of the “Morocco Storytelling” International Festival is organized until June 25 in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the Wilaya of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region.

Mauritania is the guest of honor at this year’s event, which will see the participation of 170 storytellers from around the world.
