“I think it’s a blow against the polisario and particularly against Algeria, which stands behind the separatist front,” the Chilean expert told MAP.
He added that this support for Morocco’s positions, expressed by the French judiciary, comes on top of another verdict issued by the London Court of Appeal last May following action by a pro-separatist non-governmental organization against the trade agreement between Morocco and the UK, stressing that European justice now confirms the legitimacy of trade relations between Morocco, including its southern provinces, and European countries.
The Chilean expert concluded that in this turbulent world, it would be wiser for Algeria to stop fanning the flames of discord in the world.
Last Tuesday, the Tarascon court issued a ruling that aborted the French farmers’ union’s legal maneuvers aimed at preventing a French company specializing in the marketing of Moroccan fruit and vegetables, including from the southern provinces, from distributing its products.
This French trade union organization, supported by the polisario and its accomplices in France, is involved in the judicial harassment of the agricultural agreement between Morocco and the European Union.
