Africa Cup of Nations U23 (Day 3/Gr. A): Morocco Beat Congo (1-0)

Rabat – Without forcing their talent, the Moroccan U23 soccer team defeated their Congolese counterparts by a score of 1-0 (half-time 1-0), on Friday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, as part of AFCON U23 third day (Morocco-2023).

A goal scored by Younes Taha (7th) gave the Atlas Cubs their third win in as many games, and put them top of their group (A).

With this success, the Moroccan team now have a total of 9 points after their victories in the first two matches against Guinea (2-1) and Ghana (5-1).

In next Tuesday’s semi-final, Morocco will meet the runner-up of Group B, which includes Egypt, Mali, Niger and Gabon.
