Sultanate of Oman Commends Morocco’s Pioneering Role, under HM the King’s Wise Leadership, in Consolidating Foundations of Peace and Development in Africa

Rabat – The Sultanate of Oman hailed, on Tuesday, the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, in consolidating the foundations of peace and development in Africa.

This stance was expressed in a joint statement issued at the end of the 6th session of the Morocco-Sultanate of Oman Joint Commission, co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi.

The Sultanate of Oman lauded the pioneering role played by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, in consolidating peace and stability at regional and international levels, as well as the Sovereign’s sustained efforts to consolidate the foundations of peace and development in Africa.

The Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs is on an official visit to the Kingdom leading a delegation from his country comprising representatives from several sectors concerned by bilateral cooperation, on the occasion of the 6th session of the Moroccan-Omani Joint Commission.
