Ligue 1: PSG Eyes Yassine Bounou (Media)

Paris – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which looks for a second goalkeeper this summer, eyes Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, according to French sports media.

“The Parisian club is looking for a second goalkeeper behind its Italian incumbent, particularly since the very serious accident suffered by Sergio Rico. It could therefore be the Moroccan international (Yassine Bounou)”, reports “RMC sport”.

Since his arrival, the Parisian club’s coach, Luis Enrique, has been giving his opinion on the club’s various avenues for the summer mercato, notes the same source, pointing out that the 32-year-old displays solid experience and reliability which, in the eyes of PSG, make him an interesting profile.

Discussions have already begun between the Parisian management and Yassine Bounou.

Having arrived in Spain in 2012 from Wydad Casablanca, the Atlas Lions goalkeeper played for Atlético Madrid’s reserve team and Real Zaragoza, before joining Girona in 2016.

Bounou is under contract with Sevilla until 2025.
