Israel’s Recognition of Moroccan Sahara: France ‘Can No Longer Bury its Head in the Sand’ (French MP)

Paris – French MP and spokesman for the Mouvement démocrate (MoDem), Bruno Fuchs, welcomed Israel’s “very strong” decision to recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara, saying that France “can no longer bury its head in the sand”.

France, whose relations with its Moroccan ally are deteriorating day by day, can no longer bury its head in the sand. It must take a stand”, tweeted Fuchs.

The French MP and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie also underlined the “very strong and bold decision that Israel has just taken”.
