The fire, which broke out last Friday, affected 790 hectares of the Maghraoua forest massif in the Jemaa Bouali and Boulbib areas, Safadi told MAP.
These fires are now fully under control, thanks to the efforts of teams from the ANEF, the Civil Protection, the Royal Gendarmerie, local authorities and auxiliary forces, supported by units from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
Thanks to the general mobilization of the various intervention teams, supported by Canadair aircraft of the Royal Air Force, no loss of life or property was recorded.
Residents evacuated from high-risk areas during the first days of the fire and housed by the local authorities in shelters in the center of Maghraoua have all returned to their homes, according to local observers.
More than a hundred inhabitants of three douars, close to the perimeter of the fire, were evacuated as a safety precaution.
