Bayt Mal Al-Quds’ Summer Camp Has Great Moral Impact on Al-Quds Population – Palestinian Official

Al-Quds – The summer camp organized under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI for the benefit of the children of Al-Quds has a great moral impact on the holy city’s population, said education official Samir Jibril.

Jibril told MAP, on the occasion of the 14th edition of this summer camp, that this initiative is particularly appreciated by the population of Al-Quds as it constitutes an important educational impetus for their children, stressing that this is so far the best initiative for the children.

The Palestinian official voiced his appreciation for HM the King for the efforts of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in supporting education and schooling, providing scholarships, backing healthcare, housing, agriculture and culture among other sectors.

In this regard, he further noted that HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa’s reception of this delegation from Al-Quds constitutes an uplifting, noble and humanitarian act.

On Saturday, upon the order of HM King Mohammed VI, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa received the Al-Quds children participating in the 14th edition of the summer camp organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency.

Since its launch in 2008, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency’s summer camp program has seen a total of 700 children from various districts of the Holy City, accompanied by 70 supervisors, visit different regions of the Kingdom and see for themselves the strength of Moroccans’ solidarity with the Palestinians.

Dubbed the “Green March”, this year’s event, which ran from August 10 to 26, benefited, as in previous editions, children (girls and boys) from the city of Al-Quds aged 11 to 14, accompanied by supervisors from the Holy City.
